Kenny Perry stays hot by grabbing the lead on Champions Tour
ENDICOTT, N.Y.,Christian Louboutin Clearance, Aug. 16 () -- Kenny Perry kept his hot streak going Friday, firing a 65 that gave him the first-round lead at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open.Perry has been the best player on the Champions Tour during the heart of the over-50 circuit's season, having finished among the first three in five of his last eight appearances. Those include wins at two major events -- the Senior Players Championship and the U.S. Senior Open.He is trying to win the 1,000th tournament in the history of the Champions Tour.Perry made only one bogey at the En-Joie Golf Club course and his round was highlighted by an eagle at the par-5 12th. Despite his bogey at the 14th, he played the last eight holes in 5-under.Brothers Bart and Brad Bryant both shot a 66 to share second place with Joel Edwards while Jeff Freeman, Rick Fehr, Russ Cochran and Esteban Toledo all had a 67.The Bryants make up one of 12 brother combinations to have ever played on the PGA or Champions Tour.
