Raytheon BBN Technologies gets data search funding
CAMBRIDGE,true religion sale, Mass., May 28 () -- Raytheon BBN Technologies has received more U.S. government funding for automated data search, jimmy choo outlet, indexing and analysis technology. The $1.7 million in funding from the U.S. Intelligence Advanced Research Projects was given under the Foresight and Understanding from Scientific Exposition program and follows an earlier first phase program award of $5.2 million."We are exploring theories and models to scan the scientific, true religion outlet, technical and patent literature around the world to detect emerging technical capabilities," said Lance Ramshaw, FUSE principal investigator for Raytheon BBN Technologies. "The solution we envision will recognize trends and connections at a speed and scale far beyond what has been possible previously."The FUSE program is to develop automated methods that help analysts and subject-matter experts to recognize emerging technologies in published scientific, true religion sale, technical and patent literature. It would not only process a massive, growing and multilingual collection of full-text scientific, technical and patent literature but also automatically generate, validate and prioritize areas of importance and offer multilingual capabilities for doing so.Under earlier research, Raytheon BBN Technologies developed a system that uses analytic techniques and algorithms to automatically recognize related topics in a variety of printed materials and identify areas that could be developed into significant technologies. The new funding will build upon earlier work. The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity is under the authority of the U.S. Director of National Intelligence.
