SE KY KET Education Community
Our primary broadcast service, on the air since September 1968,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], offers a mix of public television programming and original KET productions about Kentucky. KET1 is available through our statewide network of analog transmitters,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], reaching all of Kentucky and parts of seven surrounding states,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as well as their digital counterparts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and is the designated "must-carry" KET service for Kentucky cable providers. Programming includes:

KET ED offers instructional and professional development series for use in P-12 Kentucky schools. These programs made up KET's core service when the network signed on the air in 1968, and ITV has been a critical part of our programming mix ever since. In January 1989,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], our instructional schedule was expanded into a full-time service,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], initially available only via satellite downlink. The switch to digital broadcast,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], completed in June 2005, made KET's educational service more broadly accessible to private,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], parochial,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and home schools. Some Kentucky cable providers also offer KET ED to their subscribers.
