Busy week for economic data concludes with employment situation report
NEW YORK, Sept. 30 () -- Economic reports in the first week of October include private and public employment reports that are cornerstones of the monthly economic data calendar.On Wednesday, payroll firm Data Processing Inc., releases a report on jobs gained or lost in the private sector. This is followed two days later with the Labor Department's more complete report on the employment situation, as it covers private and public jobs and reveals the unemployment rate for the month.The week's reports start with the flash estimate of the consumer price index for Europe. Eurostat reports the annual inflation rate for the eurozone dropped to 1.1 percent in September, down from 1.3 percent in August.Canada releases its monthly gross domestic product report Monday. Japan's monthly employment report is also due later in the day.On Tuesday, Markit Economics releases the manufacturing purchasing managers index for the eurozone and, separately, for Italy, Germany and Greece -- also for Britain, which is not a member of the currency region.The Institute of Supply Management and Markit Economics will publish their monthly manufacturing PMI reports for the United States on Tuesday.September's figures on automobile sales in the United States are expected Tuesday,[url=http://www.godsdrama.com/]cheap true religion[/url], as well.On Wednesday, Eurostat releases its report on producer prices, a key component of the inflation index. In Frankfurt, Germany, the European Central Bank on Thursday announces its monthly monetary policy stance.The ADP report on private jobs is due Wednesday, as is the Institute of Supply Management's report on New York State manufacturing.On Thursday, Markit releases its PMI report on the eurozone's service sector. Eurostat reports August retail figures Thursday. Thursday is crowded with reports on the U.S. economy, including a Challenger, Gray & Christmas report on layoff announcements,[url=http://www.tjmobiles.com]Chaussure Gucci[/url], the weekly report on unemployment benefit claims, the ISM report on the PMI for U.S. non-manufacturing and the monthly factory orders report released by the Commerce Department.On Friday, all eyes will be on the Labor Department's employment situation report.
